Our Story

In a family as big as ours — nine siblings, thirty-three grandkids, and countless cups of coffee shared — connection has always been our favorite tradition. Coffee has meant conversation, comfort, and community for as long as we can remember.

That’s why sisters Lorena and Angelica López created Taza de Café in the heart of Lincoln Park — to bring that same feeling to our neighbors and friends.

 

More than a café; we wanted to build a home away from home, where everyone is welcome, and every sip feels like family.
